I have been interested in fungi since the camping trips of my childhood.
After attending university, my interest peaked,
and I purchased a pair of microscopes before purchasing a car.
My bryological, mycological, and lichenological collections now contain
over 15,000 specimens and I have sent specimens and photographs to herbaria all over the
world. I have and will continue to dedicate my life’s work to the study of nonvascular plants.
Currently working on the Lichen Mycota of Chile, Alaska and Montana.
Also working on the Macrofungi of Montana.
Currently a graduate student in the McCutcheon Lab at the University of Montana.
